Rebates for All Your Heating & Cooling Needs

Heating and cooling your home and water are some of the largest household energy expenses – accounting for up to 60% of total energy use!

Central Air Conditioner (Ducted) – forgo traditional ducts or air passages to control the temperatures for separate zones. Great for adding AC or for home expansions.

Evaporative Cooler – uses the evaporation of water via integrated water media pad(s) and a fan to cool your building.

Heat Pumps – the most advanced and efficient heating and cooling system available, all in one product! Energy experts recommend heat pumps as the most economical way to keep your home or business comfortable year-round. Both ducted and ductless/mini-split versions are available to meet your unique needs.

Thermostats – we offer rebates for both smart thermostats and line voltage thermostats. Participate in our Power Peak Rewards program to get rewards.

Water Heaters – various electric options can provide sufficient hot water for your family while being energy efficient, saving on the cost of energy needed to heat your water.

Whole House Fans – a type of fan used for cooling, these are designed to circulate air within your home. They pull air in from open windows and exhausts it through the attic and roof.

To qualify for rebates, you must be a member of PVREA. Purchase your electric product/appliance prior to submitting your rebate and submit your application within 90 days of purchase. Include your receipt(s) along with any and all requested documentation.

Rebates are typically processed in 6-8 weeks and either applied to your next billing cycle as a credit if rebate is under $250 or mailed to you as a check if rebate is $250 or more.

Your Rebates

Air Source Heat Pump - Cold Climate - $250-$600/ton
$600/ton up to 5 tons

$250/ton for capacity over 5 tons

Rebate amount not to exceed 50% equipment cost.

Variable speed compressor or a minimum of 3 stages for fan speed.

Ducted – Must have a minimum of 8.1 HSPF2 and 15.2 SEER.

Ductless/Mini-Split – Must have a minimum of 8.5 HSPF2 and 15.2 SEER.

Must be ENERGY STAR and AHRI-tested and certified.

- Copy of manufacturers start up commissioning form or the provided HVAC commissioning Form
- AHRI Certificate with SEER and HSPF rating
- Final itemized invoice copy

Must be ENERGY STAR rated.

Minimum of 16 SEER or 15.2 SEER2.

Must be 1 ton or greater.

Window units do not qualify.

Electric Ground Source Heat Pump - up to $700 per ton
New Ground Source Heat Pump installation – $700 per ton

Replacement of existing Ground Source Heat Pump installation – $450 per ton

Must use closed-loop or open-loop water source.

- A copy of contractor ground-loop design

Line Voltage Thermostat - $75
Line voltage thermostats are typically used for resistance, radiant, convection, or baseboard heaters that are powered by electricity.

Not compatible with forced-air furnace/ac units – like central air units.

Limited to 5 per member account.

New Nest or Ecobee device purchase with Power Peak Rewards program enrollment – $100*

*The $100 rebate includes a $50 one-time incentive for enrollment in the Power Peak Rewards program and a $50 rebate for the smart thermostat.

Existing Nest or Ecobee device with Power Peak Rewards program enrollment – $50

Power Peak Rewards program annual participation reward – $30

Water Heaters - up to $350
Heat Pump Water Heater – $350

Any air source heat pump water heater must be ENERGY STAR rated.

Desuperheater device from a Ground Source Heat Pump – $100

A desuperheater is an optional heat transfer device for domestic water-heating from a ground source heat pump. Back-up and/or hot water storage tanks coupled with a desuperheater aren’t eligible for added rebates.

Electric Resistance Water Heater – $50

Requires either fuel switch to electric from natural gas or propane, or have demand response ready capabilities (CTA-2045), or member must be on a Time-of-Use rate.

The minimum size for all water heater options is 30 gallons.
