Supporting education in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math for classrooms across our service territory.
The Empower Grant Program awards $25,000 in total each year to K-12 classroom projects in Larimer, Weld, and Boulder counties. Grant funds are used to support educational projects that focus on STEAM learning objectives – science, technology, engineering, arts, and math.
Grant funds have been used to purchase 3D printers, robotic kits, outdoor learning spaces, aquaponic systems, electronic music inventor kits, and more!
Applications are accepted between August to November of each year, with winners notified in December. See program details below for exact dates and application requirements.
Please check back next year when the grant program application period resumes.
